The 3rd National Summit on Music Art Examination Education Held at Our University

From April 23 to 24, the 3rd National Music Art Examination Education Summit 2026 was successfully held at our university. Li Juan, Vice President of the university, attended the opening ceremony. Co-hosted by our university and undertaken by Leda International Art College, the summit gathered more than 100 principals, experts and scholars from over 40 art colleges and universities across the country. Centering on the high-quality development of music art examination education, participants conducted in-depth exchanges.
In her address, Li Juan extended a warm welcome to all attending experts and scholars. She gave a detailed introduction to the university’s basic profile, school-running characteristics, achievements in art education development and progress in aesthetic education. She pointed out that music art examination education serves as an important cornerstone for the cultivation of artistic talents. The summit provides a valuable opportunity for art educators nationwide to exchange ideas and build consensus. She hoped that all participants would engage in free and in-depth discussions to jointly explore innovative paths for music art examination education in the new era, and contribute to the quality upgrading of art education.
Hao Zhiming, President of Leda International Art College, delivered a keynote speech titled Gather Strength Through Cooperation, Embrace the Future with Win-Win Results. He systematically sorted out the current development status and policy orientation of music art examination education, and profoundly analyzed the opportunities and challenges facing the industry. From multiple dimensions including Sino-foreign cooperative school-running, innovation in talent training models and inter-university coordinated development, he shared the practical explorations and experience achievements of the college. He emphasized that music art examination education in the new era should adhere to opening-up, cooperation and win-win coordination, integrate high-quality educational resources, and jointly promote the standardized, professional and international development of music art examination education.
The summit featured diverse and rich activities, including plenary meetings, roundtable forums, expert open classes and special concerts, building an all-round and multi-level exchange platform. Participants conducted in-depth exchanges and experience sharing on topics such as the development model of Sino-foreign cooperative education, the construction of music talent training systems, as well as analysis of the postgraduate entrance examination situation in music and examination preparation recommendations. Combining the school-running practice and research achievements of respective institutions, everyone spoke freely and fully expressed their views, creating a strong atmosphere of on-site communication and reaching broad consensus. In addition, the summit specially invited Song Yi, renowned baritone, vocal music educator and Professor of the Vocal Music Department at China Conservatory of Music, and Kong Lei, piano accompanist and composer from Sichuan Conservatory of Music, to deliver professional open classes respectively.
Having been successfully hosted by our university for three consecutive years, the summit marks an important measure for our university to deepen art education and promote inter-university cooperation, effectively facilitating the sharing and complementation of high-quality educational resources.
