On April 29, the Hebei on-site event of the Promotion Conference for the National 100-Day Campaign of Taking Public Employment Services to Campuses was successfully held at our university. Meanwhile, the “Career Guidance for the Future — 2026 National Urban Recruitment Tour Shijiazhuang Stop & Campus Recruitment Tour for Universities in Shijiazhuang” was launched concurrently. Yan Shidong, Deputy Director of the Department of Human Resources and Social Security of Hebei Province; Wang Hongwei, Second-level Inspector of the Education Department of Hebei Province; Chen Liang, Secretary of the Party Committee of our university; Wang Yongqin, President of our university; and Feng Baoqiang, Vice President of our university, attended the event and conducted on-site research and guidance on employment service work. Relevant leading officials and staff members from Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, the Municipal Employment Service Center, and the Municipal Talent Development and Exchange Center also participated in the activity.
The university attaches great importance to undertaking the Hebei on-site event of the national 100-Day Campaign of Public Employment Services Entering Campuses, and regards it as an important opportunity to boost graduate employment, deepen collaborative talent cultivation between the university and local authorities, and serve the local talent strategy.
During the preparatory phase, the university exercised overall planning and took the lead with multi-department coordination and collaboration. It refined the work plan and consolidated job responsibilities, making thorough arrangements and elaborate preparations in terms of guest invitation, enterprise selection, venue layout, process coordination, volunteer services and logistical support. The activity procedures were repeatedly polished and supporting services further improved, laying a solid foundation for the high-standard and high-quality holding of the event.
Jointly deployed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Education, the event serves as a core component of the national key special initiative for employment services. With Beijing as the main venue, the promotion conference adopted live video connection to simultaneously carry out activities in Hebei, Anhui and Chongqing, fully implementing the deployment requirements of the “Six Initiatives Entering Campuses” and “Three Major Activities”. At the Hebei sub-venue, Yan Shidong joined the video link, introducing the progress and achievements of the provincial 100-Day Campaign of Public Employment Services Entering Campuses across Hebei. He also reported on the number of participating enterprises and job vacancies at the special job fair held at Shijiazhuang University, as well as the integrated online-offline service model and featured considerate service measures.
The job fair held concurrently was co-hosted by our university and Shijiazhuang Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security. Based on the overall situation of Shijiazhuang’s high-quality development, the job fair accurately met the talent needs of the city’s five leading industries and selected high-quality enterprises to participate. The job positions set were highly consistent with the university’s professional layout. The recruitment activity attracted nearly 520 employers to attend, providing more than 14,000 high-quality posts, of which positions in the five leading industries accounted for 70%; about 8,000 graduates came to seek jobs on site, and initially reached 2,100 person-times of employment intentions. Both the scale and effectiveness set a new high for similar activities in recent years.
To improve the quality and efficiency of employment services, the event innovatively adopted a three-dimensional integrated model of “online + offline + live streaming” and built a full-chain employment service system. Online, it linked live job broadcasts in multiple regions, pushed information simultaneously through multiple platforms with a cumulative view count of 42,000 person-times, and launched a one-month online recruitment relying on the smart employment platform to realize “non-stop” employment services; offline, it set up characteristic zones such as policy publicity, employment guidance, legal consulting, Western China Volunteer Service Program, and AI-enabled employment, and matched them with a career carnival activity to provide graduates with one-stop, precise and thoughtful services.
The settlement of this national-level employment service activity in our university is not only a full recognition and high affirmation of the university’s achievements in employment work by the higher authorities, but also an important landmark measure for the university to strengthen employment-oriented education, deepen tripartite cooperation among universities, local governments and enterprises, and support regional talent supply. The university will continue to focus on the goal of high-quality and full employment of graduates, take this activity as an important opportunity to continuously improve the employment service system, expand employment and entrepreneurship channels, strengthen precise assistance and guidance, further deepen the collaborative education model of university-local integration and industry-education integration, and make every effort to build a high-quality employment platform for graduates and continuously deliver high-quality application-oriented talents for the high-quality development of Shijiazhuang City and the regional economy and society.
