Our University Holds 2026 Audit Committee Meeting
Release time:2026-04-30 09:14:42stamp
On the afternoon of April 28th, our university convened the 2026 Audit Committee Meeting in the Fourth Conference Room. All members of the Audit Committee attended the meeting.
Party Secretary Chen Liang fully acknowledged the remarkable achievements of the audit work in 2025. He pointed out that there are still numerous risk points in the current work of the university, and audit work can only be strengthened rather than weakened. Regarding the 2026 audit work, Chen Liang put forward three requirements. First, further strengthen the Party’s leadership over audit work. It is necessary to thoroughly study the spirit of the important instructions and directives of General Secretary Xi Jinping, give full play to the functional role of the Audit Committee, enhance the coordinated interaction among all departments of the Audit Committee, promote the formation of an audit work pattern that connects the upper and lower levels, and implement the Party’s leadership in all aspects and throughout the entire process of audit work. Second, further demonstrate the due role of audit work. In accordance with the requirements, we should focus on the key work of the university, achieving full coverage and whole-process tracking. We shall incorporate fund utilization, asset management, logistics support, and the performance of economic duties by leading cadres into the scope of audit supervision. We will conduct real-time oversight and ongoing follow-up on the implementation of major policies, advancement of key projects, and forestalling of major risks. We shall conduct thorough investigations into major irregularities and impose strict accountability, so as to effectively strengthen the deterrent effect and statutory authority of audit work. Third, further strengthen internal audit development. We should continuously improve the audit team, further leverage external resources and strengths, intensify efforts in enhancing auditors’ capabilities, improving audit systems and mechanisms, and innovating audit technologies and methods, so as to comprehensively elevate the overall level of audit work.
President Wang Yongqin put forward three opinions on the 2026 audit work:
First, improve audit systems and enhance audit effectiveness. It is necessary to continuously optimize the audit work mechanism, further increase the intensity and depth of audits, constantly improve the accuracy and effectiveness of audit supervision, ensuring that audit work is truly implemented and delivers tangible results. Second, focus on key areas and strengthen audit supervision. Audit supervision should cover a broader scope, emphasize regular audits of key departments and key groups, strengthen risk prevention and control, effectively prevent problems before they occur, and firmly guard against systemic risks. Third, accelerate information construction and deepen departmental coordination. It is necessary to accelerate the deployment and launch of the audit information system, break down data barriers, and promote cross-departmental information sharing and collaborative supervision. Through technological means and institutional innovation, we can effectively plug loopholes in systems and implementation, and safeguard the development of the university with high-quality audit supervision.
Other university leaders and principal persons-in-charge of member units of the Audit Committee put forward opinions and suggestions on audit rectification and collaborative supervision.
The meeting heard the report on the 2025 audit work from the Office of the Audit Committee, and reviewed and approved the 2026 audit work plan.
Staff members of the Audit Office attended the meeting as observers.
